Graphic designer / Daily Paid
Place of Work: Amman, with possible visits to Mafraq and Ramtha
Contract Type Daily paid (working 14 days for 3 months with possibility of extension)
Reports to: Programs manager
IRW_ Jordan is an International organization with its HQ based in Birmingham UK. IR Jordan office began its operations in 1997 in Jordan to support the vulnerable people all over. In 2012 IRJ responded to Syrian crisis by providing the needed assistance in several sectors like Food, Education, Psychosocial support, livelihood, and Health. Recently IRJ has started vocational training and women empowerment program and is planning to conduct big event on September, the bazar will be a networking event for successful women who were graduated from IRJ projects and trainings. IRJ is seeking for a creative and enthusiastic graphic designer to join the team as daily paid staff for 3 months to support the team in needed preparations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with program teams to prepare for events and Bazars.
• Proven skills in Adobe CC such as illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
• Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
• Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image.
• Produce drafts for review by PM and make revisions based on the feedback received.
• Experience of working in Bazars/initiatives is preferable
• Video production and photography skills are preferable
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Demonstrates a high level of communication skills and fluency in written English
• At least 1 year experience in working in digital design
• Education background is preferred to be related, however; any other creative persons are encouraged to apply.
